Celebrate Rev250 by learning a new spin on an art form that was popular during the time of our country's founding.

Somerville branch

Ms Alyssa will share historical silhouettes, as well as a new take on silhouettes by contemporary artist, Kara Walker. Young artists will be invited to create their own silhouettes of themselves, a friend, or even a made-up creature! The library will provide the art supplies and inspiration, you bring your imagination. If you can't stay for the full 90 minutes, that's okay - join us when you can. No registration required, but please note that space is limited.
