For Kids and Their Grown-Ups: “Between Two Windows” by Keisha Morris  Review by Laura Frantz, collection development librarian Kayla and Mateo live across from each other in two different apartment buildings. They share a clothesline between their two windows. And with the power of creativity, imagination, and a few art supplies, they are able to create and share amazing adventures between two windows. When the clothesline is removed to get fixed, the duo must come up with a new way to keep the fun going. And they definitely do. There is much joy to be found in this picture book by author and illustrator Keisha Morris. It is a celebration of friendship and community as much as it is of curiosity and ingenuity. Morris brings two tales to life in such a magical way, particularly with her use of vibrant colors and fantastical illustrations. Ideal for classroom and library use, especially art activities.
